The new AL1 battery locomotive expands the route network with exciting tasks beyond the regular lines.

For the first time, you take on the role of a driver who gets a behind-the-scenes look at daily operations – in areas that are otherwise reserved for technical staff.

In five new, authentically designed scenarios, you will accompany challenging assignments involving construction work, vehicle transport and special logistical tasks.

Support major projects, tow defective DT5 trains, deliver new vehicles and prepare for major events.

With the AL1, you will be deployed wherever flexibility and precision are required.

Thanks to its powerful battery, the AL1 is not dependent on the conductor rail and opens up completely new locations for you to work in the Hamburg network.

For the first time, you can access previously inaccessible sections of track, including the Saarlandstraße track construction workshop – an area where technology, planning and craftsmanship come together.
